Q: What should I do if I have an ache or pain outside of office hours?
A: We know aches and pains do not follow a schedule. For your convience, office phones are forwarded to one of the doctor's phones before and after hours. In a true emergency, dial 9-1-1. For chiropractic emergencies (like a low back pain that is so painful that it cannot wait until the next business day), call our office at 731-783-0602 to talk to one of the doctors.

Q: Can children and pregnant women visit the chiropractor?
A: Yes! Dr. Angela is certified with the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association and is the only ICPA certified chiropractor in the Gibson/Madison county area. She has undergone extensive training on adjusting and treating infants and children. Research has shown that chiropractic care is a safe and effective form of conservative treatment for colic, acid reflux, and constipation in infants and children.
Additionally, Dr. Angela and Dr. Heather are the only Webster Certified chiropractors in the Gibson/Madison county area. Webster Technique is a specific analysis and adjustment which allows chiropractors to reduce stress in the pelvis to allow for optimal fetal positioning. A 2002 study in JMPT found an 82% success rate of breech babies turning when chiropractors used the Webster technique. Optimal baby positioning at the time of birth also helps to eliminate the potential for dystocia (difficult labor) and, therefore, can result in easier and safer deliveries for both the mother and baby. Chiropractic care during pregnancy is also helpful for the aches and pains that can sometimes occur.
